Ayato Kobayashi is an Investment Associate at Sunstone Partners and is involved in sourcing, deal execution, and portfolio monitoring.

Prior to joining Sunstone, Ayato was an Investment Banking Analyst at DBO Partners, focused on M&A across cybersecurity, GRC, and broader enterprise software. Before DBO, he supported the secondary investment team at Industry Ventures.

Raised in New York, Ayato earned a BS in Business Administration from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
